OurCrowd's Jon Medved Talks How the Middle East's 'Sand Curtain' is Coming Down

US President Joe Biden's trip to Israel and Saudi Arabia this week could mark the next stage in the evolution of the Abraham Accords, the developing relationship between Israel and its Sunni Arab neighbors. 

CBN News discussed this trip with Jon Medved, the founder of OurCrowd, Israel's most active venture capital investor. OurCrowd is a platform that allows hundreds of thousands of investors to connect with the myriad startup companies here in the Start-Up Nation. 

Medved says the economic relationship between the existing Abraham Accord nations, like the United Arab Emirates, is growing exponentially. He sees a potentially profound opportunity if Saudi Arabia joins the Abraham Accords. It could be another step in erasing what he calls the "Sand Curtain" – the long-standing barrier separating the Jewish State and its Arab neighbors.
